Children engage in fun group activities, including singing, finger playing, discussions, calendar viewing, and weather viewing. Older children perform individually assigned jobs and flag salutes.
Work and Craft Projects:
Our lesson plans include a project relating to the weeks theme. During this work, the child learns such skills as holding a pencil, cutting with scissors, tracing, counting and patterning.
On any given day, this period might have students playing with play dough, easels, blocks, puzzles, dress-up accessories, puppet theaters, sand or water tables, dolls, cars, and books. Your child may also play with fine motor manipulative toys, such as pegboards, magnets, beads, Legos™, and patterning toys.
Your child enjoys a healthy snack and practices social skills as he or she eats with others.
Children enjoy looking at colorful and engaging picture books on their own or with friends.
Everyone gathers around the teacher as she reads a story to the whole group.
Your little one engages in supervised recreational time on our one-acre playground. It features climbing equipment with slides, swings, a wooden train, tunnels, a playhouse, and a spacious sandbox. In inclement weather, children may play on the carport, which features a basketball net, tool bench, and a hopscotch pattern.
